Looking for a Director of Sales in Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate will have at least 7+ years’ experience in sales management and 10+ years’ experience in direct or outside sales (B2B a plus). You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand their customer base.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
- Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
- Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
- Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration required (MBA preferred)
- Strong prospecting skills and excellent closing skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
