Merit Shop Construction Association is looking for a government affairs manager to serve Eastern Missouri. The successful candidate will represent the merit shop construction industry to local and statewide officials and work on a variety of programs to service and engage contractors by being their voice to local government, coordinating training programs, hosting networking events, and recruiting new members.
We are looking for an outgoing self-starter committed to providing world class customer service to this vital industry. Administrative support will be provided from the organization's headquarters in KC.
Advocacy experience required.
Experience in the construction industry is welcomed but not required.
Travel throughout Missouri up to 30% of the time is required. Reliable transportation is required.
Non profit commercial construction trade association serving Missouri and Kansas.
