The HVAC Technician will exhibit proficiency in assembly, installing, troubleshooting, and repairing refrigeration equipment and related systems for company that fabricates/assembles freezer equipment.
Performs assembly, installation, testing and repairs of refrigeration systems.
Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units
High school or equivalent education
Achieved an EPA certification and 1-2 years of HVAC experience specific to residential and commercial refrigeration systems
Knowledge of basic electricity, electrical and control systems, wiring and trouble shooting electrical issues related to the refrigeration system
Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, specifications, and schematics
Experience brazing copper connections, pulling vacuum, charging compressor with refrigerant, testing for leaks, troubleshooting issues
Willing to do other operations in the fabrication/assembly process.
Must be a dependable person who is willing to work with a team or independently.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Willing to work some overtime including Saturdays.
