Operate a Brake press to produce parts matching prints and/or patterns with minimal scrap and at a pace meeting standard rates
Use measuring tools (calipers, protractors, micrometers, scales, tape measure, etc) to verify parts are in tolerance per prints
Complete documentation for production and quality accurately and timely
Assist in Set Up person in changing over the machine
Able to recognize quality issues and assist in root cause/corrective action
Keep work area clean and organized and perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment (clean/lubricate)
Work safely and follow all safety policies (PPE, LOTO, machine guarding, etc)
Must be able to communicate with other workers and management in the area.
Perform other duties as assigned by management with minimal supervision
High school education or equivalent.
Must be proficient in high school mathematics up to and including high school algebra; proof of proficiency or test or both required.
Must be computer literate
Must be willing and able to work weekends and overtime on short notice as well as maintain good attendance.
Able to use hand tools
Able to lift large/bulky items for feeding the press brake
